OFFSET PRINTING
TYPES OF OFFESET PRINTING
Offset printing is a widely used commercial printing technique in which an inked image is transferred (or “offset”) from a metal plate to a rubber blanket and then onto the printing surface, usually paper. This indirect process ensures high image quality, sharp detail, and consistent color reproduction, making it ideal for large-volume printing such as newspapers, magazines, brochures, packaging, and marketing materials. One of the key advantages of offset printing is its cost-effectiveness for bulk production, as the per-unit cost decreases significantly with higher quantities. It also supports a wide range of paper types and finishes, delivering professional and durable results suitable for both text and high-resolution images.
